Typical Asian Girl Tag

Hello, darlings!

I saw Olivia do a tag “playing off of the “common white girl” stereotype and is not meant to offend anyone.” and I commented saying I’d like to do the “Typical Asian Girl” version of the tag. So, here’s hoping we don’t offend anybody!

She also mentioned that she watched MissMollyAnne14 do the tag, which I watched as well. You guys can go check that out; it’s basically where she got it, and now I’m doing it, too!

 Now, let’s go!

 1. Favorite Starbucks drink?

This is actually a pretty tough question since I don’t really have a ‘signature drink’ at Starbucks. I like to change it up. :D But, I guess my top three most ordered drinks are Caramel Macchiato, White Chocolate Mocha, and a classic Hot Chocolate. :)

The Starbucks barista mispelled my name. He thought my name was JULIET. -_-

2. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

In the morning, getting ready basically means “the time between waking up and heading out the door”, right? When I’m heading off to school, it usually takes me about 15 minutes, depending on how late I am for class. I take a bath in 5 mins or less and get dressed in 3 minutes, etc. I then eat breakfast or do my makeup in the car on my way to school which is usually a 20-30 minute drive.

3. How many selfies do you take on a daily basis?

On a daily basis? Hm… I usually take at least 5. (Ohhh how embarrassing). Although, these ‘selfies’ aren’t the smiley or pretty ones where I look fab. Oh no. These are photos that I take of myself doing some weird random crap. For example:

 4. How many IG followers and pics do you have?

I currently have 194 followers and 644 photos. :D (Cough, plug: follow me on Instagram: theunicahija, cough!)

5. Do you ever say “LOL” or “OMG” out loud?

Oh, god no! I never ever ever say LOL or even type it (unless I literally have nothing else to say). I don’t say OMG either. It has to be the real thing since I’m not much for abbreviations in general. :P

6. Do you wear the same clothing item more than once?

Most definitely! If I like an item of clothing a lot, I will wear it a shit load of times!

7. Are you racist?

Okay, let’s be honest here. I make fun of a lot of people, and a great mind once said, “If you can laugh at one group of people, you should be able to laugh at them all.” So yes, I am occasionally racist. Of course, this only happens in my group of friends where we’re comfortable being open about sensitive topics like that. With other people, I definitely tread carefully though. You never know who you’re going to piss off.

8. How many tweets do you have?

I have 10, 616 tweets! I used to tweet everything I did back then, but now I hardly bother tweeting. (But again, shameless plugging, ahem, same username, ahem!)

9. Instagram, Twitter, or Tumblr?

I’d have to say Instagram. I don’t keep up with Twitter anymore, and there’s just waaay too much stuff on Tumblr that I never bothered with it (although I have one as well: theunicahijatumbles) I like seeing pictures, and it’s just more interesting for some reason.

10. What do you spend most of your time doing?

Currently: sleeping, talking to my friend on Skype or Facebook or watching The Walking Dead together, and then “studying”. :D

11. Who are your favorite YouTubers?

The ones I’ve been watching a lot right now are MissGlamorazzi, AndreasChoice and ArdenRose. :) If we’re talking non-beauty gurus, I love Smosh, Connor Franta, and Jenna Marbles. :P

12. How often do you do your nails?

Hm… basically when they’ve chipped off my entire nail.

13. Are you a shopaholic?

I am Julia. I’m 19 years old and I am a certified shopaholic. I try as much as possible not to make eye contact with any store I like because if I do, I’m going to want to go in. I walk around the mall covering the sides of my face like a race horse so I don’t see anything.

14. How many times have you watched Mean Girls?

Damn, I’ve probably watched it over 20 times in my whole life time, but I haven’t seen it in years! That movie just never gets old, and I still know some of the lines to this day! And Lindsay Lohan wasn’t a crazy ass back then.

15. Do you own a lot of clothes?

I think my overflowing closet suggests that I do… Oopsie.

16. Do you take pictures of your food before you eat it?

If it’s something cool or fancy; if it’s froyo or a burger, naaah. Yeah, I’m one of those sad people who takes photos of her food. I always say “It’s for my blog…” when it’s not… :S

 This is my favorite dish from The Chocolate Kiss, which is a popular restaurant on our uni’s campus. This is the Chicken Kiev with Mashed Potatoes. Mmm…

17. Do you wear makeup everyday?

Now, not so much. Like I said, what’s the point? I have no one to impress in my one class per day, and no hot guy ever goes to my gym (siiigh) and I rarely go out now. Well, sorta. :D

18. What are your average grades in school?

I actually don’t remember. I was a pretty good student back in grade school but I sucked eggs at Math and Science though. English and History were always my best subjects. Oh, and Art, of course.

19. How do you usually style your hair?

On a normal day, my hair is up in a top bun. If I’m trying to be fancy, I have it in a pony tail or a side pony. If it’s cold or I’m trying to seduce someone (read: never), I leave it down, all sexy and wavy. :D

20. Do you always look presentable?

This is where I laugh uncontrollably and roll on the floor, and utter with my dying breath: HELL NO! But you know what?

I sent this annoying photo to my family’s group on Viber after I told my mother that I am such a lovely daughter. :D

And that’s all the questions! My answers weren’t particularly Asian, were they? They were mostly answers of a typical teenager if I will be honest.
